 My Teaching Philosophy

In the classroom, as a future art teacher, I hope to assist young people discover their distinctive abilities in order that they continue to develop and explore throughout their work and get insight into their ideas

To bring my inner world to life and produce incredibly powerful, emotionally charged artwork, I'm especially interested in utilising emotions in my art. Working with my emotions whether positive or negative allowed me many times to express my inner feelings, be authentic, and promote creative, productive learning. I enjoy using a variety of methods to portray and capture emotion, whether it be through background history, emotionally charged abstract artwork that inspires feelings of joy, and melancholy.

Students should, in my opinion, have a voice and an opinion on matters.I want to offer support and, if possible, put them in touch with professionals in the field during these times when the majority of students might have dealing with mental health issues. I can connect to it because I have experienced similar circumstances myself, especially in light of COVID-19. I believe that educators ought to reevaluate their teaching and evaluation strategies in these kinds of circumstances. In the future, I hope to work as a teacher who values students' mental and physical well-being, cultivates a trusting environment, and recognises the importance of young people opening up about concerns related to their familial backgrounds or more. There is nothing more exciting than witnessing students create and explore their ideas in a creative manner. I wish to motivate students with task demonstrations and the artwork of both historical and contemporary artists before they start their own investigation. By giving them the opportunity to speak about their experiences in the classroom, I think it will promote respect, trust, and a wonderful opportunity to learn about others. In addition, I want to create a learning environment that is incredibly creative, supportive, and dynamic. I want to provide a platform for young people to express their thoughts and feel heard as a future artist and art teacher.

As an artist and future teacher, I firmly believe in inclusive education, which means creating a space where children feel accepted and using differentiated strategies to make them feel included. Helping young people find their unique abilities is one of my key as a future teacher I want to develop.

Coming from a foreign country and having completed some of my education in Ireland, speaking English as a second language was the most challenging thing for me in high school. I want to make art accessible to all kids as a future teacher because my art teachers inspired me to value and be enthusiastic about the topic. I aim to educate students so that they realise that their first language will not dictate their job, regardless of how well or poorly they speak English. Creating an environment where students feel accepted in all aspects, including social standing, is one of my main objectives.

Additionally, I believe that, inclusive education is an approach that guarantees all students, regardless of their background, skills, or learning requirements, have equal access to possibilities for both academic and social growth.

As an educator, my goal is to acknowledge that every student has an individual approach to learning and contributes their own perspectives, experiences, challenges to the classroom setting. I think that by accepting these disparities, inclusive education will improve every student's educational experience and foster a more welcoming community. All students will gain from inclusive education, not only those with different learning needs. Through the promotion of diverse teaching approaches and learning practices, inclusive education will provide more comprehensive, captivating, and efficient learning environment.

As a future teacher, I plan to encourage and carry out inclusive methods that guarantee each student feels appreciated, included, and equipped to study. Regardless of their background or disability, what I want them to comprehend does not define who they are.
