Painting
As an artist, I would like to use this occasion to show you some of my artwork. The majority of the paintings in this area were made in particular circumstances when we were given the assignment, and they combine still life with abstract art. It gave me an opportunity to try out several painting techniques and deepen my understanding of oil or acrylic painting. The approach utilised to make the first painting, a still life that we were requested to create, was quite experimental and, in my opinion, a crucial skill for artists to learn.
The second Painting, "City by Night," was inspired by a place I visited while on vacation overseas and was based on a project where we were asked to describe the city we were in or the city we lived in. Coming from a little town in Tipperary, I was astounded by the size of the structures, the stunning nighttime illumination, and the bustling bustle of this metropolis.
The third painting is a landscape, and it was a lot of excitement to work on. We were asked to depict the sky, the forest, and the river at the time, so we had to use a variety of colour schemes.
The remainder of the painting was inspired by a natural dyes painting, such as Red: Cherries, beetroot skins. raspberries. Orange: Paprika. Skins of red onions. Yellow: Peels from lemons. Peels from pomegranates. - Turmeric. The peels of yellow onions.
Artichokes are green. Fresh herbs. Spinach. Blueberries are blue.
Blackberries: purple. In order to create this type of abstract painting, I also combined natural dyes with acrylic painting during my experiments with red cabbage leaves.

Sculpture
My mother served as the inspiration for this sculpture, which was made in a setting where the task was to depict how we view beauty in modern society. My mother had defined beauty for me. The assignment required us to construct the eyes, nose, mouth, and face structure in a proportionate manner, as well as to develop proportionate facial features. There were several steps involved in creating this sculpture, including the bust, neck, face, and hair. Making a strong bust and assembling everything together was the most challenging task I experienced while creating this sculpture, but it turned out plenty of enjoyable.

Printing
The first one was printed on paper, and the second one was printed on a fabric with a different application that required a lot of ink on the fabric and somewhat less on the paper. Both prints depict a repeat pattern that is made on various textures. The first printing used sunflower as the topic, which was intriguing in a manner since I had to first draw the flower on the lino in a shape that resembled a sunflower, which I thought was a fun learning process.
The image of my room's bedside lamp and a portion of my bed and pillow are taken from a video that we created as part of our "short film" project during my second year of teaching. We used portions of the short film we produced to make a painting. Each person was given three colour palettes to produce a linoleum print, which I thought was really fascinating.

Embroidery Stitch
Since I was young, I have always loved stitching. This self-portrait was made by first taking a photograph and then creating a collage out of various kinds of solid paper and fabric. The stitching process was mostly the enjoyable aspect of it, which I thought was fantastic.
